Program Overview

The BEng (Hons) Artificial Intelligence at XJTLU equips students with expertise in computer science and AI, including programming, machine learning, natural language processing and computer vision. The four-year, English-taught program offers two pathways — Advanced Industrial Artificial Intelligence (Taicang) and Intelligent Systems (Suzhou Industrial Park) — with articulation options at the University of Liverpool. Graduates earn both an XJTLU degree and a University of Liverpool degree.

Curriculum

The AIAI-XEC pathway includes Python for AI, Data Structures and Algorithms, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Pattern Recognition and Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing and Generative AI. The IS-SIP pathway includes C/C++ Programming, Electrical Circuits, Digital Electronics, Maths for Machine Learning, Principles of Machine Learning, Data Engineering, AI Agents, Deep Learning, Pattern Recognition in Computer Vision and Natural Language Processing, plus a Final Year Project.
