The University of Electronic Science and Technology of China is an engineering university in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, focused on electronics and information technology. Electronic engineering, communication engineering, computer science, microelectronics, automation and biomedical engineering are its core fields.
English-taught bachelor, master and doctoral programs are offered in electronics, communication, computer science and management, and a large share of international students enrol in these. The main campus in the western part of Chengdu is modern and self-contained, with dormitories, laboratories and sports facilities on site, and the city's growing technology sector provides internships in software and hardware companies.
