Tianjin University

Tianjin University is an engineering university in Tianjin and one of the country's oldest technical institutions. Chemical engineering, civil engineering, architecture, mechanical engineering, instrument science, materials science and environmental engineering are its established fields.

International students are admitted to English-taught master and doctoral programs in chemical engineering, civil engineering, environmental engineering and management, and to Chinese-taught degrees after language preparation. The Weijin Road campus is in the city centre and the Peiyangyuan campus to the south hosts most undergraduate teaching in newer buildings. Tianjin's port and manufacturing base support internships in chemical and civil engineering.
