Hohai University is a university in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, specialising in water resources and hydraulic engineering. Hydrology and water resources, hydraulic engineering, port and coastal engineering, environmental engineering, civil engineering and water management are its core fields.
English-taught master and doctoral programs are available in hydraulic engineering, water resources, environmental engineering and civil engineering, while undergraduate teaching is mainly in Chinese. The main campus in Nanjing is close to the Yangtze, and the university operates field stations and laboratories for river, coastal and water environment research, which support practical training for engineering students.
