Hangzhou Dianzi University is an engineering university in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, focused on electronics and information technology. Electronic engineering, communication engineering, computer science, automation, accounting and information management are its core fields, and its teaching emphasises applied system design.
English-taught master programs are available in electronic engineering, computer science and communication engineering, and undergraduate teaching is mainly in Chinese. The main campus in Xiasha is close to the Qiantang River and to a cluster of technology companies, and Hangzhou's software industry supports internships and project work for students in electronics and computing.
