Yunnan University

Yunnan University is a comprehensive provincial university in Kunming, Yunnan Province. Ecology, ethnology, biology, chemistry, Chinese literature, history, mathematics and public health are among its main fields, and its location gives it access to exceptional biodiversity and to the cultures of southwest China.

International students, many from Southeast and South Asia, take Chinese language courses, Chinese-taught degrees in ecology, business and humanities, or a small number of English-taught master programs. The main campus in Kunming is close to the city centre, and the surrounding region's mountains, lakes and mild climate shape fieldwork and daily life.

Admission requirements, deadlines and required documents are set program by program. Each program page lists the verified requirements and links to the official university source.
