Nanchang University is a comprehensive provincial university in Nanchang, Jiangxi Province, formed through the merger of several institutions. Clinical medicine, materials science, food science, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, law and journalism are among its main fields.
International students are admitted to the English-taught Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery program, to English-taught master programs in engineering and medicine, and to Chinese-taught degrees after language preparation. The main campus in Honggutan is large and modern, and Nanchang's lower living costs and central position between Shanghai, Hangzhou and Guangzhou make it a practical base.
