About Capital Medical University
Capital Medical University is a medical university in Beijing with a large network of affiliated teaching hospitals. Clinical medicine, nursing, public health, dentistry, pharmacy and biomedical engineering are its main fields, and its hospitals cover specialist areas from paediatrics to neurology.
International students are admitted mainly to the English-taught Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery program, with clinical rotations in affiliated hospitals from the third year, and to a smaller number of master and doctoral programs in medicine and public health. The main campus in Fengtai District is served by several hospital campuses across Beijing, and Chinese language study is included in the early years.
